#2 - Ethics

ETHICS training school

9 MAY 2022 - ONLINE

A training to ethical issues is a key milestone for young researchers when the entire world face challenges that only honest and reliable science can solve!

In a few hours, ethics and integrity in research were explained, by using some striking examples and recalling decisions made by international instances.

Did you ever wonder how to adopt durable procedures in research? How to communicate the right things at the right moment (open science), how to respect colleagues, how to be impartial and independent in evaluation and assessment  etc…. ?

DESTINY Fellows, their PhD supervisors & the Ethics contact points of the programme had the opportunity to discuss with, and learn from, people who have thought about and studied all the impacts of ethics in research, and more generally in everyday life.

This school was organized by the Ethics Board of DESTINY composed of  Claire-Marie PRADIER (Chairwoman), Patrik JOHANSSON & Rosa PALACIN (Academic members), Amada MONTESDEOCA (Industrial partner) & Yann SERREAU (external expert).

Two speakers presented: Caroline STRUBE (Member of the CNRS Research Integrity Office) & Eric GUILYARDI (CNRS Institut Pierre-Simon Laplace, CNRS Ethics committee)
