MULTI-SCALE MODELLING FOR BATTERIES BATMAN

NOVEMBER 14 TO 18, 2022 - LRCS - AMIENS - FRANCE

The third DESTINY School was held from November 14 to 18, 2022 at the LRCS in Amiens. A group of 7 DESTINY Fellows participated!

This unique school allowed them to cover various facets in the development and application of multi-scale modeling methods, from theoretical foundations to practical implementation. It will cover porous electrodes theories, DFT approaches, Kinetic Monte Carlo, Cluster expansion, Molecular Dynamics, Continuum modeling, Machine Learning, computational workflows, and virtual reality visualization and computation.
The students had practical exercises on codes and methods and had possibility to try novel Virtual Reality tools, focused on the atomistic, mesoscopic and macroscopic aspects of a battery.
