The research project will be articulated on the desing and synthesis of new ionic conductors going beyond the State of art, keeping the targets of cost, scalability, easiness of manipulation and performances at heart of the project.
To achieve these goals, the focus will be done on an innovative class of ionic conductors and a rational design will be conducted in order to optimize transport properties, stability in manufacturing and operation. This optimization of performances will be conducted based on solid state chemistry knowledge for finding right anionic or cationic dopants and on a synthesis/characterisation loop to engineer the
interface behaviour versus anodic and cathodic materials.
Mobility and secondment are to be defined and discussed but developping knowledge about ordering and disordering impact on performances will be of prime importance (PDF technics or/and neutrons) as well as surface characterization (XPS).
