Multiscale Modeling for the Optimization of the Manufacturing and the Interfaces in Solid State Batteries

I graduated with honors from the Chemical Engineering department at Kocaeli University, where my passion for sustainable technology began to take shape. During an internship at an oil refinery, I became acutely aware of the environmental dangers posed by current technologies, which steered me toward a more sustainable career path. This led me to pursue the MESC+ Erasmus Mundus master's degree, where I delved into the interdisciplinary sciences of battery technology. My research stay at Drexel University during this time ignited a deep passion for research, inspiring me to further explore this field through a PhD in LRCS as part of the DESTINY program.

Becoming an MSCA fellow has been a transformative experience. The fellowship has opened doors to prestigious institutions and provided me with the incredible opportunity to collaborate with industry experts at Umicore, a key partner in my research. This has not only enriched my academic and professional skills but has also allowed me to build a robust network within the scientific community through seminars and events. However, the most rewarding aspect has been the friendships I've formed with fellow MSCA researchers. These connections have led to unforgettable experiences, proving that the journey of scientific discovery is just as much about the people you meet as it is about the knowledge you gain.
