Professor of Materials Chemistry at the University of Bath and head of the Energy Materials Group in the Department of Chemistry. Research interests include studies of new advanced materials for cathodes and solid electrolytes in lithium and sodium batteries, and for perovskite solar cells. He currently leads the new UK Faraday Institution project on next-generation lithium battery cathode materials (CATMAT).
