Yu-Sheng CHEN

I am Yu-Sheng Chen, Chemistry PhD graduate from Warsaw University of Technology is distinguished by the extensive academic background and robust research experience.

Funded by an EU Marie Curie fellowship, my doctoral research focuses on synthesizing and modifying NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, achieving notable advancements such as a 5% increase in capacity through aluminum doping.

I have also pioneered the setup of research equipment for synthesizing single-crystal and polycrystalline NMC cathodes. The academic journey includes a Master’s degree in Energy and Process Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, where I specialized in nanotechnology and renewable energy. This diverse research experience spans several prestigious institutions, including the Slovenian National Institute of Chemistry and Warsaw University of Technology.
